Percy Jackson

A 'Normal life' is what percy jackson thought he had, but that was before he was attacked by his maths teacher, who was apparently a Greek mythology monster. This is how Percy's adventure began. The story consists of three main characters, Percy, Annabeth and Grover. The three set off to find Zeus' lost master bolt, but they only have 10 days to find it, or else. Percy, later finds out that he is the son of one of the 'big three' Greek gods. He is the son of 'Poseidon' the god of the sea.

In 'Normal' books, I find as if the start of the book bores me and i just want to get the start over and done with, but with this book the action started at the START. This amazed me as no other book i had read had done this. Throughout the whole book, Rick Riordan added more exciting things that forced me to read on. Things like: a pen that turns into a bronze sword or a cap that makes you invisible. I could go on forever, though I might reveal to much of the book for some readers' likings. The intensity of this book makes me feel like i am a part of it. It allows me to imagine things that would Never happen in real life.

The Italics of certain words used in the book excites me for some reason. it allows my brain to think how the author would want me to read it. The book also makes me realise what humanity is doing to the Planet earth that we call 'home'. This is because one of the characters (Grover) is like an environmentalist and emphasises ( because he is not human) that humanity is destroying the environment.
